The word “DIET” in general just isn’t too appealing to me. I’m not the only one that feels this way right?!? ✋🏼
The reason why “diet” is unattractive 😣, is the fact that we always here about what you can’t have, how much someone dislikes how they have to eat, OR about people failing while being on them. WHELP! Here are a few AMAZING tips to help support whatever diet you choose to be on!
🧘🏼♂️BE FLEXIBLE: I’m sure you’ve heard of the 80/20 rule right?? Well in most (not all) cases, it works. When we try to walk the tight rope so carefully, it’s easy to fall off hard.
🛑 DON’T BE IN A RUSH TO SUCCEED: It’s great to have goals, so set them! BUT be realistic. Great things don’t happen overnight. They take time. So enjoy the journey to long term success!
🏠 SET YOUR HOME UP TO SUCCEED: Avoid bringing foods and drinks into your home that won’t support you getting to your goals. NOW, I know we don’t all live alone. So not leaving foods out that temp you, and putting the healthier option in the front of the shelves, really helps what we are reaching for!
💑 KNOW THAT YOU AREN’T IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD: There’s no cheating with food! There’s choices that will and won’t support progress. But guess what, the foods feelings won’t get hurt, nor is the food going to gossip about the choices you make. So….IT’S OK! You’ll make it!
I personally feel like this is a HEAVY topic, and also think it’s very good advise to hold onto. That’s just me though :)
